  • Patent number: 4467285
Abstract: A pulse monitor circuit which detects pulse failures through use of a detection circuit and a storage circuit. The detection circuit detects failure of the monitored pulses after being periodically reset by an external reference pulse train. The storage circuit is clocked by the reference pulses and operates to store the output signals of the detection circuit. Upon detection of a pulse failure to monitor can be cleared by external control or detection of a monitored pulse.

  • Patent number: 4446437
Abstract: A pulse monitor circuit which detects failure of a monitored pulse by monitoring its expected occurrence during time intervals defined by an external reference pulse train. Failure of the reference pulse train is detected by monitoring its expected occurrence during time intervals derived from the monitored pulse train. Detection circuits are used to detect failure of the pulse trains and storage circuits, which can be cleared by external control or reappearance of the monitored pulse.

  • Patent number: 4427948
Abstract: A pulse toggle monitor circuit which detects toggling of a monitored pulse. A plurality of detection circuits are connected in a shift register manner. This arrangement provides for detection of pulse toggling of a duration longer than a predetermined time as defined by the period of an external reference signal and the number of detection circuits. The output of the shift register is connected to a storage circuit which is clocked by the reference signal and operates to store failure signals from the shift register. The storage circuit can be cleared either by external control or detection of a valid pulse.

  • Patent number: 4399412
Abstract: A duty cycle monitor circuit which detects variations in the duty cycle of a monitored pulse by comparing its duty cycle with the pulse width of an external reference signal. A detection circuit detects the duty cycle variation of the monitored pulse after being periodically reset by the external reference signal. A storage circuit is clocked by the reference signal and operates to store the output signals of the detection circuit. Upon detection of a duty cycle failure the monitor can be cleared by external control or detection of a monitored pulse having a valid duty cycle.

  • Patent number: 4146829
Abstract: A circuit which protects a battery powered, pulse controlled, constant current power supply from excessive power dissipation. Voltage controllers disconnect the power supply from an associated battery, a predetermined time after current flows in the power supply, and reconnect the power supply to the battery a predetermined time after current ceases to flow in the power supply.

  • Patent number: 4035773
Abstract: A switching matrix arrangement using magnetic latching reed relays is disclosed, wherein similarly numbered switch groups and verticals are connected in common and are driven simultaneously with the exception of a grid select signal which is unique to a particular grid. Further as a check on the operation of the grid various sensors are located throughout the network to monitor the selector. Because of the multiple connections leakage current which flows from the unselected groups may cause operation of unselected group monitor sensors. To prevent this a combination sensor and current sink is used that shunts the leakage currents around the sensor.
