    Abstract: An electrical connector having a housing with an opening contains within the housing a ground plane, a plurality of coaxial jacks, and a first and second plurality of contact springs. Each coaxial jack has a tubular element which is fastened to the ground plane and a socket which is fastened to the housing. Each first plurality spring has one end connected to the ground plane, and each second plurality spring has one end connected to the socket of a different one of the coaxial jacks. The other ends of the first and second pluralities of springs extend into the opening.
