Abstract: Disclosed herein are, among other things, systems and methods for providing location-based digital stories to a user of processing a device system, such as a mobile device. In some embodiments, a user profile associated with the user and data indicating a plurality of location-specific digital stories related to a common theme at a plurality of locations may be stored. A processing device system may be configured to determine a current location of the mobile device and to provide a first or second digital story to the mobile device based on an analysis of the stored user profile and the current location.

Abstract: An easily transportable solar cooking system that is capable of effectively utilizing available sunlight in locations having obstructed views of the sky. A plurality of support members upon which one or more reflective elements may be mounted, may be independently placed adjacent to an object to be heated. A user may manually adjust the angle of each reflective element, a concave mirror in the preferred embodiment, with respect to the support member so as to reflect a focused beam of light onto the object to be heated. The reflective elements may be mounted via a separable ball and socket joint such that the reflective elements and support members may be disassembled and compactly stored for easy storage and transport.

Abstract: A multi-layer coating system comprising a hydroxyl-functional polyurethane dispersion is provided. The hydroxyl-functional polyurethane comprises the reaction product of a pre-polymer intermediate formed from the reaction of an isocyanate with an active hydrogen containing compound, such as a polyester polyol, with a compound having at least two amine groups and one hydroxyl group, such as a diamino alcohol. In addition, a waterborne basecoat composition is provided having improved rheology and pattern control. Such a waterborne basecoat composition comprises a hydroxyl-functional polyurethane dispersion an acrylic emulsion resin, a water-reducible polyester resin, and a cellulose ester.

Abstract: An apparatus which remotely visualizes and detects toxic, flammable and other gas leaks and enables one to see gas clouds in real-time. A dual band thermal imaging infrared video camera fitted with a special filter images gas clouds. Image processing is utilized to develop and colorize the gas cloud information for display. The gas image is superimposed over a background image provided by a co-located visible light video camera.

Abstract: A gas detector badge for detecting harmful gases, including a gas sensitive tape positioned behind a front panel, having an indicator window, a reference window and a control window. The control window is provided with a gas filter, whereas the indicator window is open to the atmosphere to permit harmful gas to pass through the indicator window to the gas sensitive tape; the reference window includes a gas impermeable member to protect the tape from the atmosphere. Harmful gases contacting the badge pass through the indicator window and the control window, passing through the latter at a slower rate, to chemically react with the tape to develop color as a measure of the harmful gases in the atmosphere.
