Patent number: 11528365Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables communications among users having communication session requests waiting in a queue. In a particular embodiment, a method includes determining that a first communication session request from a first endpoint is in a queue for establishing a communication session with a receiving endpoint to which the queue is regulating access. While the first communication session request is in the queue, the method includes connecting the first endpoint to a communication channel between the first endpoint and a second endpoint having a second communication session request in the queue. Also, while the first communication session request is in the queue, the method includes exchanging user communications between the first endpoint and the second endpoint over the communication channel.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2021Date of Patent: December 13, 2022Assignee: Avaya Management L.P.Inventors: Roger I. Patent number: 7537549Abstract: An improved lift apparatus for use in a treadmill having a support base and a treadbase is disclosed. The lift apparatus includes a lift motor assembly linked to the support base and to a cam. The first cam can be attached to a torsion bar linked to the support base. An incline link bar is linked to the first cam and to the treadbase. The force generated by the motor assembly is efficiently translated from the cam to the treadbase, thereby inclining the treadbase.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2004Date of Patent: May 26, 2009Assignee: Icon IP, Inc.Inventors: Gerald Nelson, Rodney L. Hammer, Gordon L. Cutler, Kurt Finlayson, William T. Dalebout

Patent number: 6023168Abstract: A method for measuring formation resistivity uses a tool including a central current electrode and a series of voltage electrodes arranged in pairs on either side of the current electrode. A series of measurements is made using the current electrode with different numbers of pairs of voltage electrodes maintained at a predetermined voltage so as to allow resistivity in the formation to be determined with different depths of investigation. In this manner these measurements are focused and are relatively unaffected by the borehole or by adjacent layers in the formation. The central current electrode is segmented azimuthally into a series of electrodes, and the current flowing out of each azimuthal segment is measured separately. This can yield resistivity images of the formation surrounding the borehole. The azimuthal imaging capability can be used for stratigraphic or lithologic analysis of the formation and to detect fractures in the rock.Type: GrantFiled: August 21, 1995Date of Patent: February 8, 2000Assignee: Schlumberger Technology CorporationInventor: Gerald Nelson Minerbo

Patent number: 4763791Abstract: A dental impression kit to assist the dentist or a dental technician in the making of dental impressions preparatory to the formation of a mold and the manufacture of a crown or full or partial dentures. The kit contains a compact and orderly arranged array of items necessary or desirable in formation of dental impression. Such items include a selection of upper and lower dental impression trays, dental impression material base and catalyst, adhesive, polish, instructions and a mixing pad. From the kit, the dentist is able to select the appropriate type and size of impression tray, mix the impression base and material on a mixing pad, prepare the tray with the adhesive and then fill it with the impression material and take the dental impression, all the while having instructions at hand if necessary. The finished dentures can be polished using the polish kit. Secondary inventory control cases complement the primary case by making inventory available as items from the primary case are depleted.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 1987Date of Patent: August 16, 1988Assignee: Excel Dental Studios, Inc.Inventors: George E. Halverson, Gerald A. Nelson
