Abstract: Ideally the “Break-away Siding Clips will be made of a very thin and brittle plastic for easy break-away. They are made reversible for quick installation. Please see drawings for details, size specifications, and application. The same type of clip is used for bevel cedar lap siding, but would not be reversible because the top of clip would have and angled opening to accommodate the bevel of the siding, only the bottom of the clip would break away, see drawing.
