Abstract: The invention relates to a method for detecting and verifying a working position of a mobile concrete pump, said method comprising the steps: a) setting up and at least partially supporting the concrete pump at a set-up position; b) detecting position-related data of a working position, wherein the working position is located in a region of a surface to be concreted which is remote from the set-up position; c) comparing the position-related data with a theoretical working area resulting from the set support; and d) outputting a signal as to whether the working position can be operated. This makes it possible to set up or support a mobile concrete pump in the most optimal manner possible. The invention also relates to a method for determining a suitable support setting, a measurement device, and a mobile concrete pump.
