  • Patent number: 10112519
Abstract: The present invention relates to a motorized device that can be operated by one person to load or unload a platform containing cargo or a wheel chock attached to a motorcycle or multi-wheeled vehicle, or bins and containers holding cargo. The device taught herein is employed to lift or move the cargo to the level of the truck bed or storage area and move into the storage or travel to a second position. Also disclosed is a sliding ramp apparatus for moving cargo to a higher level or lower level or movement on the same plane or level using incline, horizontal or vertical movement. When mounted on a platform or motorized vehicle, any cargo: machinery, motorcycle, containers, palettes, drums, supplies, etc. can be loaded or unloaded in or on a vehicle or platform in a lifting or lowering manner. When mounted on any surface, any cargo (worktables, machinery, crates, containers, pallets, drums, supplies, boats, etc.

  • Patent number: 9315141
Abstract: A load bearing carrier system for carrying additional cargo in the vehicle or on the carrier itself. The support system increases the wheelbase of the vehicle to stabilize the added weight and extended weight out the back of the vehicle at high speeds. The load bearing structure attaches to the tow vehicle at trailer hitches or directly to the frame of the vehicle. The system includes a receiver hitch or a multiple receiver hitch beam attached across the rear of the tow vehicle attached to the tow vehicle frame. The carrier mounting beam has trailer tongues pinned into said receivers and the attached mounting beam of the carrier has vertical beams near each end to mount the springs, air bags, air shocks, load bearing air cylinders or spring enhanced shocks type of suspension, the cargo platform and attached trailer hitch. The mounting beam has pivot beams to mount the spindles, hubs, brakes, wheels and tires.

  • Patent number: 7482705
Abstract: A generator support plenum for a engine-generator set for installation on a pickup truck in an RV or on a boat, for example, sits in or under or forms a part of an enclosure for the engine-generator set and defines cool air flow paths into the set for cooling the engine and generator and aspirating the engine. The plenum also defines a warm air outlet duct for escape of the cooling air. In the outlet duct a diffuser couples to the exhaust of the engine to mix hot exhaust with the much cooler escaping cooling air that has passed over the engine and generator. The diffuser eliminates the effect of the extreme hot exhaust gas and muffles the engine sound. Insulation coating the internal surfaces of the plenum further suppresses engine noise.

  • Patent number: 6474674
Abstract: A hitch apparatus for removably coupling a trailer to a tow vehicle provides fore and aft cushioning, vertical cushioning and roll accommodation. When it is mounted on the tow vehicle, a mounting assembly is situate in the truck bed of the tow vehicle and includes a pair of rails pivotally coupled at a first end with the truck bed. A carriage is mounted on the rails by means of a pair of rail guides, each of which slidably receives a corresponding one of the rails, and is thus slidable in directions fore and aft on the tow vehicle. A shock absorber is pivotally, diagonally coupled between the truck bed, at one end, and the lower surface of the carriage at the other end. A cradle is pivotally mounted for side-to-side rocking within the carriage. A hitch adapted to receive the trailer is mounted to the cradle. A first plate is mounted to the second ends of the rails. An air bag is mounted to the truck bed directly underneath the first plate to provide vertical cushioning.
