  • Patent number: 11987010
Abstract: A method for connecting a thermoplastic line element to a connecting element includes the steps of: providing the at least one thermoplastic line element; providing the connecting element having a thermoplastic body wherein a heating element is embedded in the body for generating heat in a welding region for welding the body to the at least one line element; joining the connecting element to the at least one thermoplastic line element; providing a welding device for welding the connecting element to the at least one thermoplastic line element; welding the connecting element to at least one thermoplastic line element by generating heat in the welding region using the welding device. The welding of the connecting element to the at least one thermoplastic line element is stopped by the welding device before the end of the planned welding duration if an error criterion is met.

  • Publication number: 20220152941
Abstract: The invention relates to a weldable connecting element 2 for connecting or joining thermo-plastic line elements 3. The connecting element 2 comprises: a thermoplastic body 4; at least one heating element 6, which is embedded in the body 4, wherein the heating element 6 serves to generate heat in a welding area 5 for welding the body 4 to the at least one line element 3. Furthermore, a joining control 12 is provided, which is configured to prohibit the welding operation and/or to interrupt the welding operation if the body 4 and the line element 3 are not joined correctly.

  • Publication number: 20220055318
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for connecting a thermoplastic line element (3) to a connecting element (2). The method comprises the steps of: providing the at least one thermoplastic line element (3); providing the connecting element (2) having a thermoplastic body (4 wherein a heating element (6 is embedded in the body (4 for generating heat in a welding region (5 for welding the body (4 to the at least one line element; joining the connecting element (2) to the at least one thermoplastic line element (3; providing a welding device (10) for welding the connecting element (2 to the at least one thermoplastic line element (3); welding the connecting element (2 at least one thermoplastic line element (3 by generating heat in the welding region (5 by means of the welding device (10). The welding of the connecting element (2) to the at least one thermoplastic line element (3) is stopped by the welding device (10) before the end of the planned welding duration if an error criterion is met.

  • Patent number: 7137762
Abstract: A device for tapping a conduit, which conducts a flowing fluid, comprises a housing, which has a principal part, a fixing part running flush with the principal part for fixing to the conduit and an outlet part for discharging fluid from the tapped conduit. A rotating cutting device is provided in the principal part, said device being displaceable from a retracted first position into an extended second position, in which a section of the wall is cut out of the conduit. A telescopic shaft, which is fixed on one side to the principal part and on the other side to the cutting device, is provided. The telescopic shaft has at least two segments that can be displaced in relation to each other in a sealed manner and is fixed to the principal part in a sealed manner. The telescopic shaft does not protrude beyond the principal part as a result of its axial extensibility or retractability, thus ensuring a compact construction and ease of use.
