  • Publication number: 20210196433
Abstract: An orthodontic device for correcting malocclusions and asymmetries includes a set of first elements and a set of second elements. Each first element is coupled to at least one of a lower tooth of a user and an orthodontic appliance positioned on the lower tooth. Each second element is coupled to at least one of an upper tooth of the user and an orthodontic appliance positioned on the upper tooth. The second element is positioned on the upper tooth so that the second element is positioned to contact an associated first element as jaws of the user are closed. The second element and the associated first element are configured to exert a force upon a mandible of the user to correct at least one of a malocclusion and an asymmetry.

  • Patent number: 4333895
Abstract: A method of moulding magnet compacts in a die surrounded by an induced magnetic field, the die being surrounded by a mass of material having a high magnetic conductivity so that the induced magnetic field is non-linear through the die.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 31, 1978
Date of Patent: June 8, 1982
    Assignee: National Research Development Corp.
Inventors: Kenneth H. Strawson, Gerald Spencer
  • Patent number: 4161378
Abstract: A machine producing moulded components in a compactable material, the components being produced in die cavities in a die plate disposed between a filter assembly and a die cover plate, pressure of the compactable material in the die cavities causing filtration and compaction of the material. The compactable material may be a slurry material containing particles of magnetic material for the production of permanent magnet compacts, in which case means may be provided for producing an induced magnetic field around the die cavities before and during the compaction process.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4160633
Abstract: Apparatus for moulding components in compactable materials, including a die plate with die cavities closed by a filter assembly at one side of the die plate, the filter assembly being constituted by a filter block with a grooved or perforated surface and a filter pad in abutment with said grooved or perforated surface. The compactable material may be a slurry material containing magnetic particles for producing permanent magnet compacts, in which case means may be provided for maintaining a magnetic field around the die cavities.
