  • Patent number: 10980104
Abstract: A power amplifier arrangement for a motor vehicle includes a printed circuit board disposed between a housing on a first side of the printed circuit board and a heat sink on a second side of the printed circuit board. A power amplifier is mounted on the second side of the printed circuit board. A bracket is supported by the housing. A clamping spring is supported by the bracket such that the clamping spring is in biased engagement with the first side of the printed circuit board, and such that the power amplifier is pressed into engagement with the heat sink.

  • Patent number: 10267656
Abstract: A human machine interface includes a capacitive sensor disposed on an interior side of a face plate. A control device is rotatably coupled to the face plate and is disposed on an exterior side of the face plate. The control device includes at least one electrically conductive element. The control device rotates about an axis substantially perpendicular to the face plate such that the at least one electrically conductive element follows the rotation of the control device. The capacitive sensor senses a rotational position of the at least one electrically conductive element.

  • Publication number: 20190064517
Abstract: A head up display testing arrangement includes an optical instrument detecting an optical quality of a light field produced by a head up display projector. A rotatable support device is attached to and supports the optical instrument. A three-dimensional positioning assembly is attached to and supports the tiltable support device. The three-dimensional positioning assembly includes an x-axis linear drive module, a y-axis linear drive module, and a z-axis linear drive module. Each one of the x-axis linear drive module, the y-axis linear drive module, and the z-axis linear drive module translates the tiltable support device in a direction orthogonal to directions in which other two of the x-axis linear drive module, the y-axis linear drive module, and the z-axis linear drive module translate the rotatable support device. A rollable cart is attached to and supports the three-dimensional positioning assembly.

  • Publication number: 20180067310
Abstract: A head up display arrangement for a motor vehicle includes a picture generation unit generating an illuminated image. A first free form mirror is positioned to provide a first reflection of the illuminated image. A second free form mirror is positioned to receive the first reflection of the illuminated image and provide a second reflection of the illuminated image. A windshield of the motor vehicle is positioned to receive the second reflection of the illuminated image and provide a third reflection that is visible to a driver of the vehicle as a virtual image.

  • Publication number: 20170371158
Abstract: A head up display mirror mounting arrangement for a motor vehicle includes a mirror positioned to reflect an image such that the image is again reflected by a windshield of the vehicle. A mirror holder includes two opposite ends each having a respective pivot. The pivots define an axis of rotation of the mirror. The mirror holder holds the mirror. A housing includes two opposite ends each having a respective bearing support. Two rotation mechanisms each pivotably couple a respective pivot to a respective bearing support.
