  • Patent number: 10763927
Abstract: The present invention relates to generation of radio frequency signals by digital components. In particular, data for specifying a baseband signal are generated at a centralized processing device, and the data relating to the baseband signal are transmitted to radio frequency transmitters via a digital network. The radio-frequency transmitters digitally generate radio-frequency signals based on the data obtained via the digital network, and the generated radio frequency signals are provided to a connector or an antenna.

  • Patent number: 9658741
Abstract: A measuring device comprises a control unit, a measuring unit, a display unit and an input unit. The measuring unit comprises a plurality of functional units and a connection unit configured for selectively connecting the plurality of functional units. The control unit is configured to control the display unit to display a plurality of function blocks each corresponding to at least one functional unit. The input unit is configured to allow a user to select one of the plurality of function blocks. The control unit is configured, after a function block is selected by the user, to control the display unit to display possible connections of the selected function block to further function blocks.

  • Patent number: 9363035
Abstract: A method for determining a channel quality for the transmission of data in the channel by a test device. The test device transmits the data with the determined channel quality to a device to be tested which determines one or more pieces of decision information. The device to be tested forwards the piece(s) of decision information to the test device as a response signal and the test device reads the piece(s) of decision information from the response signal. The piece(s) of decision information from the response signal is/are uniquely attributed to a transmission mode to be adjusted. The initially determined channel quality is also uniquely attributed to an expected transmission mode. The expected transmission mode is compared with the transmission mode to be adjusted in a comparative unit in the evaluation unit, thereby allowing a statement regarding the correctness of the transmission mode to be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 7917151
Abstract: A base station of a mobile communication network is connected to a core network and is operable in a normal mode and in a direct mode. The base station detects a request originating from a first user equipment to communicate with a second user equipment. The first user equipment is in direct reach of the base station. The base station establishes a communication link between the first and the second user equipment, and checks if the second user equipment is also within direct reach of the base station. The base station operates the communication link in direct mode, if yes, and operates the communication link in normal mode, otherwise.
