  • Publication number: 20230294366
Abstract: The invention relates to a welding tool and a method for pulse welding films of plastic for medical packs formed as bags. The invention generally provides for the film material that has been plastified during welding, and is consequently free-flowing, to be specifically displaced by increasing the sealing surface area. The displaced film material can for instance compensate for dimensional and form tolerances. At the same time, however, the strength of the welded seam region, which adjoins the interior space of the bag, is not reduced.

  • Patent number: 11548665
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a device for filling a medical packaging formed as a pouch. Preferably, the packaging is filled with liquid via a port, wherein the port is aerated with a protective gas, such as nitrogen, for example, during filling According to the invention, prior to filling with liquid, the packaging is filled with an inert gas, such as nitrogen, for example, which then provides the headspace of the filled and closed pouch. This results in a particularly low oxygen content in the headspace of the pouch.

  • Patent number: 11498284
Abstract: The invention relates to a welding tool and to a method for pulse welding of plastic films for medical packs formed as bags. In general, the invention provides that the film material which is plastified during welding and thus free-flowing is specifically displaced into a deepened, edge-side inner region of the sealing surface by increasing the sealing surface area. The film material accumulated in the recess leads to an increase in the film thickness in the inner region (25i) of the weld seam (6, 7, 8). As a result, the mechanical stability of the medical pack formed as a bag can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20220227520
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and a method for manufacturing a medical package, in particular a foil bag made of plastic. A print image with variable information is first applied by means of a thermal transfer printer which is formed as a negative print image and comprises blank spaces. The blank spaces are filled by means of a hot stamp printing process.

  • Patent number: 11202734
Abstract: The invention relates to a pharmaceutical product or container closure system containing an overpouch with an intransparent first foil and a transparent second foil, a transparent primary container for holding a transparent liquid, e.g., a pharmaceutical formulation, wherein the transparent primary container is packed within the overpouch and labeled with at least one label and wherein the at least one label acts as a light absorbing segment having a reflection RL for light in the range of about 350 nm to about 800 nm and an inner surface of the intransparent first foil of the overpouch acts as a light reflecting background having a reflection RF for light in the direction of the primary container in the range of about 350 nm to about 800 nm with RF?RL. By the transparent second foil and the inventive reflection properties it is achieved that the at least one label on the primary container is visible and readable. Additionally, visual inspection of the content of the transparent primary container is possible.

  • Patent number: 7875016
Abstract: A flexible multi-chamber container for preparation of medical mixed solutions includes at least three chambers separated from each other by leaktight seams. The chambers are designated to be filled with different solutions and are separated from each other by leaktight seams. At least a part of the first leaktight seam is provided with a separation zone to be opened for fluid transfer from the first chamber into the second chamber. At least a part of the second leaktight seam is provided with a separation zone to be opened for fluid transfer from the second chamber into the third chamber. The leaktight seams are arranged and the separation zones are formed such that, in use of the container for preparation of the medical mixed solution, the first separation and second separation zones are opened in a sequential order. The first zone is opened before the second separation zone is opened. Thus, the components are mixed one after another in a predetermined sequential order.
