The pair of portable power supply devices each including a portable housing, an outlet, and an energy storage assembly, the outlet is designed for coupling with conventional electrical plugs. The recharging assembly is electrically couplable to a conventional household ac outlet. The recharging assembly is preferably electrically couplable to each one of the pair of portable power supply devices. The energy storage assembly is for recharging the portable power supply devices.
