    Abstract: A picnic table mounts a plurality of support members at each end thereof extending orthogonally relative to the top surface of the table. The support members include a plurality of spaced parallel rods, with each rod including a series of equally spaced parallel and coextensive ribbons extending downwardly therefrom, wherein the ribbon flexible construction effects prevailing winds to effect a fluttering of the ribbons and thereby discourage flying insects about the table.
