  • Patent number: 9651161
Abstract: A non-return valve, in particular for medical purposes, including a first hose connection housing, a second hose connection housing and a membrane disk which is made from flexible material. The membrane disk is arranged between the two hose connection housings and can be raised up from an annular valve seat in communication with an inlet space which is connected to an inlet passage. A medium-permeable formation which faces the membrane disk is arranged on the inlet side into the inlet space, supporting the membrane disk against overextension in the case of high return pressures.

  • Patent number: 7571503
Abstract: A headphone pillow includes a support portion. The support portion is flexible and has a first end and a second end. A first pillow portion has a first pillow ear portion connected to the first end of the support portion. The first pillow portion has a first pillow receive portion. A second pillow portion has a second pillow ear portion connected to the second end of the support portion. The second pillow portion has a second pillow receive portion. The first pillow portion and the second pillow portion each have a release mechanism. The first pillow ear portion and the second pillow ear portion each have a first side and a second side. The second side of either the first pillow ear portion or the second pillow ear portion is independently removably connected to either the first pillow receive portion or the second pillow receive portion.

  • Patent number: 6648592
Abstract: A centripetal-flow airbleed system for a gas-turbine engine including an annular support affixed to first and second disks of a compressor of the engine and having a plurality of peripherally spaced orifices defined along the radius thereof, a plurality of airbleed tubes each mounted in a substantially radial manner in one of the orifices of the annular support, and a vibration reduction device for reducing vibrations of the airbleed tubes. The device includes a plurality of damping tubes each mounted in one of the orifices of the annular support. The radially inner end of the damping tube encloses a portion of the airbleed tube and delimits an annular space defined therebetween.

  • Patent number: 4753295
Abstract: An improved method for placing ball sealers (25) onto casing perforations (17) in a deviated wellbore (10) is disclosed. In this invention, a plurality of ball sealers (25) are introduced into the casing and are transported to the perforations at an interface (26) between two immiscible fluids; the first or leading fluid (21) having a density greater than the ball sealers and the second or trailing fluid (24) having a density greater than the ball sealers.
