  • Publication number: 20250031579
Abstract: Laminated vehicle glass structures included printed piezoelectric actuators for sound generation. Ring-shaped piezoelectric actuators are printed on an inner surface of a selected one of the exterior glass panel or interior glass panel. The printed piezoelectric actuators are offset relative to a centerline longitudinally extending between the opposing glass panels. Also disclosed are processes for forming the laminated glass structures including at least one printed piezoelectric actuator. The laminated glass structures can be utilized about the vehicle anywhere sound generation is desired, e.g., passenger windows, sunroofs, front windshield, rear windshield, and the like. The printed ring-shaped piezoelectric actuators act as a diaphragm to produce sound upon excitation.

  • Patent number: 7274684
Abstract: In a complete network-in-a-box system acting as an enterprise network demarcation point, packets such as voice, video and data packets, are routed over common network connections, such as LAN and WAN. The packets are mapped from a public address field (such as an IP address) and port number to a private address field and port number, the mapping process typically being handled by a NAT (Network Address Translation). The packets are also prioritized, by marking the packets for priority queuing and routing, and configuring the bandwidths of the WAN traffic and the voice traffic to predetermined quantities and configuring the address fields of the voice devices. Simultaneous transmission of the various packets can be limited to predetermined quantities, typically by utilizing a CAC (Client Access Control).

  • Publication number: 20060160078
Abstract: Disclosed is a lateral flow assay device to test for the presence and/or amount of a nucleic acid sequence of interest in a sample, the lateral flow device comprising: (a) a sample receiving zone for contacting the device with a sample to be tested; (b) an extraction zone (8) for extraction of nucleic acid from the sample; (c) a nucleic acid amplification zone (18) in liquid communication with the sample receiving zone; and (d) a detection zone (20) for detecting the products, directly or indirectly, of a nucleic acid amplification reaction performed in the nucleic acid amplification zone, said detection zone (20) being, or being locatable, in liquid communication with the amplification zone (18).
