    Abstract: A laminate useful for body armor is prepared by press laminating alternate layers of a fabric from poly-(p-phenylene terephthalamide) and 6,6 nylon film to cause bonding together of the fabric layers into a rigid composite with only minimal flow of the film polymer into the yarn bundles of the fabric layers.
