  • Patent number: 7678758
Abstract: Provided is a method of vaccinating a patient against a tumor by administering an agent to reduce or prevent interaction between Notch and a Notch ligand, or expression or processing of Notch or a Notch ligand. In one embodiment, this is accomplished by administering to the patient a tumor antigen expressed by the tumor and exposing an antigen presenting cell in the patient to an agent that reduces or prevents interaction, expression or processing of Notch or a Notch ligand in a T cell.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 16, 2002
Date of Patent: March 16, 2010
    Assignee: Celldex Therapeutics Ltd.
Inventors: Jonathan Robert Lamb, Gerard Francis Hoyne
  • Patent number: 7399741
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of therapeutic compounds in the modification of T-cell, T-cell-antigen presenting cell (APC) interactions and the interactions between pathogenic organisms and immunocompetent cells of a host. In particular it relates to the use of these compounds in the modulation of the interaction between Notch proteins and their ligands and to the use of such compounds in the therapy of conditions such as graft rejection, autoimmunity, allergy, and asthma and infectious diseases.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 25, 2004
Date of Patent: July 15, 2008
    Assignee: Celldex Therapeutics Limited
Inventors: Jonathan Robert Lamb, Margaret Jane Dallman, Gerard Francis Hoyne
