  • Publication number: 20240299635
Abstract: The present invention relates to a breast pump assembly, in particular a breast pump assembly suitable for aligning a nipple within a horn member of the assembly. More specifically, the breast pump assembly comprises a conduit comprising an opening adapted to receive a nipple of a user; and a light source arranged to project light towards the opening, such that, in use, light is projected onto the nipple of the user as the nipple is positioned into the opening. A further breast pump assembly comprises a breast receiving portion comprising an opening for receiving a breast of a user; and a light source arranged to project light from the opening to form a projected light region having an area corresponding to an area of the opening. • Publication number: 20230405192
Abstract: The present invention relates to abreast pump, in particular abreast pump and a breast pump valve assembly each for use in providing negative pressure when expressing milk. A breast pump valve assembly comprises a suction chamber for fluid connection to a negative pressure source. A fluid chamber is defined between a first one-way valve and a second one-way valve, wherein the first one-way valve is configured to allow flow of fluid into the fluid chamber and the second one-way valve is configured to allow flow of fluid out of the fluid chamber. A displacement member fluidly separates the suction chamber and the fluid chamber and is configured such that application of negative pressure to the suction chamber causes movement of the displacement member to thereby increase the volume of the fluid chamber and draw fluid into the fluid chamber through the first one-way valve.
