  • Publication number: 20100184016
Abstract: The invention relates generally to the field of virology. More particularly, the present invention relates to methods of diagnosing, prognosis, treatment and prevention of porcine circoviral infection in mammals, in particular of porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2). Methods of using a nucleic acid(s) and/or a protein(s), which are immunogenic in said mammal, and antibodies immunospecific for said protein(s), to treat, diagnose and/or prevent said porcine circoviral infection, are provided for by the present invention.

  • Patent number: 4825585
Abstract: A device for hauling in or paying out a fishing line carrying leaders fitted with fastenings in the form of pairs of loops through which the master line passes, includes moving leader storage units each comprising firstly a rectilinear tubular guide along the inside of which said master line passes while being hauled in or paid out, and along which the large loops of said fastenings slide either externally or internally, and secondly a rectilinear rail running parallel to said tubular guide and at a distance therefrom which is less than the length of said leaders and over which the hooks fitted to said leaders slide.

  • Patent number: 4043986
Abstract: Polymers possessing imide groups having excellent heat resistance and chemical inertness are disclosed. They are prepared by reacting cyanamide and a product possessing imide groups selected from:A. a bis-imide of the general formula: ##STR1## in which Q represents a divalent radical of the formula: ##STR2## WHEREIN Y represents H, CH.sub.3 or Cl and m is 0 or 1, and A represents a divalent organic radical containing 2 to 30 carbon atoms; andB. a mixture comprising a said bis-imide and a mono-imide of the general formula: ##STR3## in which Q is as defined above and R represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent organic radical containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms.

  • Patent number: 3978152
Abstract: Polymers possessing imide groups are disclosed. These polymers display good impact strength and are obtained by reacting:A. a bis-imide of the formula ##EQU1## in which Y represents a divalent hydrocarbon radical with 2 to 20 carbon atoms which is free from unsaturated bonds other than aromatic bonds, a divalent mono- or bis-heterocyclic radical with 2 to 10 carbon atoms, or a divalent organic radical with 4 to 20 carbon atoms consisting of several of the hydrocarbon radicals defined above connected to one another by --O--, --S--, --CO-- or --SO.sub.2 --, andB. either an adduct (A) obtained by reacting an epoxy resin and a polyamine of the general formula:Z(-- NH.sub.2 ).sub.v (II)in which Z represents an organic radical of valency v and v represents an integer at least equal to 2, or a mixture comprising the adduct (A) and an amine of the formula:X NH.sub.2 ).sub.
