  • Patent number: 5996625
Abstract: The assembly includes a body in which there is formed a bore (3) for letting in gas under pressure, containing an isolation valve (4) exposed to the gas under pressure, at least one pressure reducer (5), an element (9) for selecting and regulating the flow rate through at least one outlet (8) for gas at reduced pressure, and a tubular member (11) for controlling the isolation valve sitting on top of the body. The isolation valve is a spool (4) which can be moved back and forth in a transverse housing (26) in the body and the opposite ends of which interact directly with curved guide ramps (18, 19) formed by the tubular control member. The direct control of the isolation spool (4) by turning the tubular member (11) simplifies the architecture of the assembly and reduces the manufacturing and servicing costs thereof. The assembly is useful in transporting bottles of gas, especially of medical oxygen.

  • Patent number: 5566713
Abstract: The gas control and dispensing assembly comprises a lower block (1) , mounted on a gas bottle (4) and comprising a manometer (9) and a filling connector (11), and on which a subassembly (32, 17 ) is permanently mounted, axially movable in response to a rotation of a tubular control and actuation member (46) surrounding the subassembly, which contains a pressure reducer (27) and an indexable flow regulator (34, 35) and has a low-pressure outlet (45) and a medium-pressure outlet (51).Application in particular to dispensing medical oxygen.

  • Patent number: 5446449
Abstract: A monitoring system comprising at least, a first and a second indicator unit each associated with at least one fluid distribution line and each including at least two series of indicators, each series being associated with at least one pick-up of the magnitude of a fluid which circulates in a distribution line and comprising at least two indicator lights for the thresholds of the magnitude, wherein the thresholds may be adjusted by a programming unit.

  • Patent number: 5429152
Abstract: A cap for a cylinder of gas comprising a lower portion (2) adapted to be mounted on a gas cylinder (3) and an upper portion (1) defining internally a space (20-19) protecting a gas distribution valve structure (4) secured to the cylinder. The lower portion (2) comprises a portion (8) that projects laterally relative to the cylinder and comprises a downwardly opening cut out (12) permitting the support by hooking of the cap/cylinder assembly on a structural support element. The projecting portion (8) has a transverse external profile which is flat or of large radius of curvature permitting supporting on a flat surface the cap/cylinder assembly. The upper portion (1) comprises a transverse handle (22) in substantially vertical alignment with the laterally projecting portion (8). The upper portion (1) comprises two lateral vertical ribs (23A, 23B) connecting the handle (22) to the projecting portion (8). The cap/cylinder assembly is useful particularly for medical oxygen.
