  • Patent number: 9667605
Abstract: An electronic communication system and a method allowing communication to be performed in an open environment are provided for a server to authenticate a user that has no account with the server and to allow the user to perform operations with the server. Users having accounts with different servers in different electronic communication systems may authenticate each other and then communicate with common communication protocols across different application systems. An inviter may invite an invitee to access the inviter's resources saved on a server that the invitee has no account with. Other than the inviter and invitee, no one including the server can access the inviter's resources.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9537861
Abstract: A method of mutual verification between a client and a server is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a request via a telecommunication link, the request comprising an address of the server; receiving a verification data; decrypting the verification data with a private key of the server; identifying an account identity (ID) of the client from the decrypted verification data; generating a first logon token; generating a logon message comprising the first logon token and a uniform resource locator (URL) of the server; encrypting the logon message with a public key of the client; transmitting the logon message via the telecommunication link; receiving a logon request comprising the account ID and a second logon token; and determining whether the second logon token matches the first logon token.

  • Patent number: 8151112
Abstract: A method of delivering electronic mail messages upon requests and managing public-secret key pairs of public key cryptography in an electronic message system. A sending party sends an intend-to-deliver associated with an electronic mail message to an intended receiving party. The intended receiving party responds with a request-for-mail-content to request for the electronic mail message if the intended receiving party determines to do so. The sending party will not deliver the electronic mail message to the intended receiving party if the intended receiving party does not send the request-for-mail-content. A host computer is assigned with a unique name that is registered with authoritative organizations and can be used for establishing a connection to the host computer. The host computer provides the public keys of its account holders to the public. The initial public key of an account holder is certified by the host computer using an account password.
