Abstract: This glass element consists of a glass block, brick or tile which can be used for constructing panels, walls, slabs and the like. Each glass element comprises on its outer periphery interfitting means such as ribs and grooves and/or tongues and grooves adapted to engage corresponding interfitting means formed either on the adjacent glass block to tile, or on a vertical and/or horizontal independent frame; holes are formed in the end portions of the element for engagement by anchoring studs; the arrangement is such that the panels, walls, slabs and the like can be constructed without using mortar or reinforcing means.
