Patent number: 11927293Abstract: A locking assembly for a door assembly of an agricultural vehicle includes: an actuator that defines an actuator axis and is linearly movable between a first position and a second position and rotatable about the actuator axis between a first locking orientation and a second locking orientation and includes a pair of locking features; a biaser configured to bias the actuator toward the first position; an energizer configured to bias the actuator toward the first locking orientation when the actuator is in the second locking orientation; and a lock configured to engage a second locking feature when the actuator is in the second locking orientation. Linear movement of the actuator from the first position to the second position while the actuator is in the second locking orientation causes the lock to disengage from the second locking feature so the energizer rotates the actuator towards the first locking orientation.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2021Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: CNH Industrial America LLCInventors: Brian Payne, Gerard Restaino, III, Jerry L Brinkley

Patent number: 10260824Abstract: A cooler bypass valve assembly for an agricultural implement includes a cooler bypass valve configured to receive hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic supply. The cooler bypass valve position is adjustable between a first position that facilitates flow of the hydraulic fluid to a cooler bypass and restricts flow of the hydraulic fluid to a hydraulic fluid cooler, and a second position that blocks flow of the hydraulic fluid to the cooler bypass and facilitates flow of the hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic fluid cooler. The hydraulic fluid cooler is capable of reducing a temperature of the hydraulic fluid, and the cooler bypass directs the hydraulic fluid around the hydraulic fluid cooler. Additionally, the cooler bypass valve assembly includes a control assembly that controls the cooler bypass valve position based on the temperature of the hydraulic fluid.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2013Date of Patent: April 16, 2019Assignee: CNH Industrial America LLCInventors: Jerry Lee Brinkley, Guy Thomas Stoever, Gerard Restaino, III

Publication number: 20150167276Abstract: A power beyond valve assembly for an agricultural implement includes a pressure compensation spool that receives hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic supply and selectively provides the hydraulic fluid to a hydraulic system of the agricultural implement. The position of the pressure compensation spool is adjustable between an open position that facilitates flow of the hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic system and a closed position that blocks flow of the hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic system. Additionally, two fluid connections provide the hydraulic fluid to either end of the pressure compensation spool to urge the pressure compensation spool to an open or a closed position. Further, a pressure relief valve is fluidly coupled to one of the fluid connections, and the pressure relief value is adjustable to vary hydraulic pressure within the hydraulic system.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 13, 2013Publication date: June 18, 2015Applicant: CNH America LLCInventors: Jerry Lee Brinkley, Guy Thomas Stoever, Gerard Restaino, III

Patent number: 6405815Abstract: The hydraulic coupler is used for connecting a valve to a tool used with a vehicle having a hydraulic pump and fluid communication with the valve through hydraulic plumbing. The hydraulic coupler comprises a coupler body having a base portion, a neck portion and a connector portion. The coupler body is two connector chambers in the connector portion which arc in fluid communication with two apertures, which when the hydraulic coupler is mounted on the valve, are in fluid communication with the valve. A connector assembly, typically of the quick-connect type, is mounted in each connector chamber and is configured to receive hydraulic plumbing to connect the valve to the tool. One embodiment provides that the coupler body is narrower than the valve on which it is mounted.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2000Date of Patent: June 18, 2002Assignee: Case Corp.Inventors: Guy T.
