Patent number: 10119518Abstract: A system for controlling the flow of turbined water from a plurality of hydroelectric plants arranged in series along a watercourse with an open channel flow, defining upstream of each plant, a plurality of head races subject respectively to hydraulic flow and level constraints. The flow of water turbined by each of the plants is controlled by a flow setpoint. The system includes regulation of a global electrical production power set-point for the plurality of hydroelectric plants by a flow regulation setpoint taking into account the flow setpoint of each of the plants. The flow regulation setpoint determined by the regulation is weighted for each of the plants by weighting coefficients as a function of the respective hydraulic characteristics of the head plurality of races.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 2015Date of Patent: November 6, 2018Assignee: ELECTRICITE DE FRANCEInventors: Luc Deprugney, Jennifer Zarate, Gerard Robert

Publication number: 20180148974Abstract: An upper guide track assembly for a retractable screen is described. The assembly comprises a U shaped guide channel, a track attachment member for attaching the assembly to a support, a track outer member connectable to the attachment member and a screen retaining member within the guide channel. The retaining member receives and retains an upper edge of a screen. The retaining member has two resilient wings extending from either side of the body. Each wing is biased towards a position in which the distal end of each wing is away from the body. The wings are moveable against the bias to a retracted position. When the retaining member is retained in the guide channel, each wing is held in the retracted position against the bias. This allows an upper edge of a screen retained by the screen retaining member to be biased in the vertical direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2017Publication date: May 31, 2018Applicant: INFINITY RETRACTABLE SCREENS PTY LTDInventors: Anthony Gerard Roberts, Aaron Rodd

Publication number: 20170321479Abstract: A mounting arrangement comprised of a first component for attachment to a support, and a second component supportable by the first component. The first component has a first side which is in use distal from the second component and provides a supporting portion spaced from the first side. The second component provides an engagement portion for engagement with the supporting portion. The mounting arrangement provides a restraining part moveable between a restraining configuration for restraining disengagement of the engagement portion from the supporting portion, and a release configuration for allowing disengagement of the engagement portion from the supporting portion. The mounting arrangement further provides a securing component which is insertable between the second component and the first side of the first component to restrict disengagement of the engagement portion from the supporting portion.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 26, 2015Publication date: November 9, 2017Applicant: INFINITY RETRACTABLE SCREENS PTY LTDInventor: Anthony Gerard ROBERTS
