  • Patent number: 11590306
Abstract: A respiratory therapy system for providing continuous positive air pressure (CPAP) to a patient may include a flow generator for generating a supply of breathable gas, a sensor to measure a physical quantity while the breathable gas is supplied, and a computing device. The computing device may be configured to: receive sensor data that is based on measured physical property of the supply of breathable gas; control the flow generator to adjust a property of the supply of breathable gas; display a question and a plurality of selectable responses; receive a first input selecting one of the selectable responses; and display a coaching response corresponding to the selected response.

  • Publication number: 20050072666
Abstract: An electrolyser for separating a mixture of components using isoelectric focusing in a liquid media comprises a series of blocks defining chambers. The chambers are separable by isoelectric membranes of known pH. End chambers are located at each end of the series of chambers. The blocks are clamped together using four tie rods to make the apparatus substantially liquid tight. An electrodes is provided in each end chamber for use in applying an electric field across the series of chambers. One of the tie rods is conducting and carries current from an electrode at one end of the apparatus to the opposite end of the apparatus. A lever operated clamping mechanism is provided for tensioning the tie rods and clamping the chambers together between the end blocks in a liquid tight fashion.

  • Publication number: 20050072678
Abstract: An apparatus for electrophoresis comprises a base incorporating an integral or separable tray defining a plurality of parallel troughs into which IPG strips may be placed is disclosed. The apparatus further includes a lid. The lid has a top and depending sides and is configured to fit over the base. The lid defines at least one opposed pair of depending electrodes, and also, spaced inwardly of the electrodes relative to the sides of the lid, a pair of opposed depending members for applying pressure to IPG strips located in use, in troughs of the tray. In a variant the lid provides individually addressable electrodes for each of the grooves in the tray wherein the lower edge of the depending electrode bars and the IPG holder bars are all crenellated.
