Abstract: The method relates to the laying of rails in a trench into which concrete is subsequently poured in order to fasten the rails. The method consists in laying adjustable-length ties (4) on the bottom of the trench (3), in roughly positioning the rails (14, 15) by means of block-supports, in fastening the ties to the rails by using tie-screws (10) and anchor sleeves (11) as bolts and nuts, in adjusting the length of the ties and in leveling the ties by means of auxiliary screws (18), and then in pouring the concrete, the auxiliary screws being subsequently removed. The ties are preferably pre-equipped with tie-screws, with sleeves and with rail-fastening clamps and the tie-screws and the sleeves may also be used for fastening tie-plates to the ties.

Abstract: Device for fixing a rail onto a slab of concrete comprising a metal chair fixed onto a metal base with interposition of a resilient sole, by means of clamps which are tightened by rotation on an inclined plane and which come to fix simultaneously the rail onto the metal chair and the metal chair onto the base. Preferably the clamps press against pillars formed on the base.

Abstract: Concrete railroad stringer assembly for securing a railroad track comprising supports imbedded in the stringer and having a bow-shaped part extending above the stringer. The supports either are equipped with an abutment made of synthetic material or are made of ductile material forming itself an abutment for the railroad track. The supports are equipped with or intended to receive securing straps for securing the railroad track on the stringer.

Abstract: Device for fixing a rail on a tie, comprising an abutment made of plastic material and a clamp made of steel fixed by a rail screw or a nut. The clamp is provided with an oblong hole which makes it possible to displace the clamp in a direction perpendicular to the rail, in such a way that the clamp can occupy a preparation position, in which the rail can be placed vertically between two abutments, and a fixing position, in which the clamp bears against the flange of the rail. This device makes it possible to pre-equip ties in workshops.

Abstract: Fastening strap composed of a rod having a vertical rectilinear part (20) and a curved part which forms a spring and the end (10) of which grips the flange (25) of the rail to be fastened, after being tensioned as a result of the rotation of the strap above a ramp (30), the lower end of the rectilinear part being equipped with a heel (2) catching on a retaining surface (36) in the tie. The strap has an intermediate bearing point (6) which, during the rotation of the strap, bears on an abutment (38) or on a bearing surface of a metal sole plate. This intermediate bearing point ensures the stability of the strap during its rotation and in its tensioned position and, if an abutment is used, keeps this abutment in place.

Abstract: A securing device for a railway rail includes a fixing rod having a first end in the form of a spring head which bears on the shoe of the rail. The rod extends through a shim and has a second end is configured like a hook and is held in an anchoring sheath embedded in a support. The anchoring sheath includes a shoulder for tensioning the spring head under the shoe of the rail after the rod has been rotated by a half turn. The tensioning of the rod also results from the slope of the upper surface of the shim which extends upwardly and continues the slope of the shoe of the rail.

Abstract: Articulated mold for the manufacture of molded objects having opposed undercut parts comprises two dies whose parting surface passes between the opposed undercut parts of the molded object. In each die there are provided shells composed of segments which can be displaced by pushers in order to open the mold and eject the molded object.
