The shaft comprises first and second side-by-side lumens with a movable wall extending axially therebetween. The first lumen may occupy more than half of the inside diameter of the shaft such as during advancement along a guidewire, and the second lumen may occupy more than half of the inside diameter such as following withdrawal of the guidewire and during inflation of a balloon. Methods are also disclosed.

The device is rotated into position across the femoral neck and into the femoral head, and the proximal anchor is distally advanced to lock the device into place.
