Abstract: System for software vendor integration into an electronic marketplace. An example system receives, via an electronic software marketplace and from a user who is signed in to the electronic software marketplace, a request to download a software application hosted by a software vendor. The example system populates a form request for the software application with information from a user profile associated with the user, and submits the form request to the software vendor such that the user can download the software application directly from the software vendor.

Abstract: A system and method for enabling a client to query a DNS server for location information that is associated with the client's IP address. The client receives the location information which identifies a list of sub-locations and a location IP address space encompassing the sub-locations listed. The client selects a network service located nearest to the client based on the location information, and then accesses the network service.
