  • Patent number: 7756822
Abstract: An architecture and system for integrating online transactional processing (OLTP) systems with online analytical processing (OLAP) system. The architecture includes a data access layer having one or more data access programs for accessing OLTP data, a service layer having a business intelligence (BI) platform for generating OLAP data, and a data abstraction layer providing a common meta-model for OLTP data integrated with OLAP data. The architecture further includes a user interface presentation layer configured to provide a user interface for displaying a report run on the integrated OLTP and OLAP data.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 1, 2003
Date of Patent: July 13, 2010
    Assignee: SAP AG

  • Patent number: 5153920
Abstract: For receiving and forwarding message cells transmitted according to an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) by an ATM switching equipment which comprises a multi-stage reversing switching matrix network, each of the message cells has a routing information block having a plurality of routing information corresponding in number of the plurality of switching matrix stages to be traversed located in front thereof within the ATM switching equipment and the routing information just evaluated for the forwarding of a message cell through one of the switching matrix stages is subsequently displaced to the end of the respective routing information block. It is thereby provided that each of the routing information of the routing information block has a separate security information attached thereto and the security information is falsified, together with the displacement of a routing information to the end of the respective routing information block.

  • Patent number: 5140588
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for call-associated identification of transmitted message signals in an ATM switching system wherein each of the incoming trunks has a plurality of counters which correspond in number to the plurality of virtual connections. When a message appears, the message cells drive the counters for a call-associated acquisition of the message cells based on the description of the cell header contained therein that identified the particular virtual connection.

  • Patent number: 5117417
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for transmitting message cells during virtual connections that allows the checking of the transmission bit rate in an ATM switching system which includes a plurality of counter means corresponding in number to the number of virtual connections. Upon the appearance of a message cell, the counters are individually driven based on the description of the cell header contained which indicates the virtual connection. An upward transgression of a defined transmission bit rate is indicated by an indicator signal produced by the respective counter means.
