  • Patent number: 10870174
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing a plastic-metal hybrid component, in which, in order to improve the adhesion of a metal surface, provided with a corrosion protection layer, of a base body made from metal and at least one plastic component, the corrosion protection layer of the metal surface of the base body is provided with a surface structure having undercuts. In order to avoid damage to the corrosion protection layer a filler material that binds well with the corrosion protection layer is applied on the corrosion protection layer in a specific and limited manner, in the form of successive, preferably metal elements having geometrically determined and/or geometrically indeterminate shape, via relative movement with respect to same.

  • Publication number: 20070080863
Abstract: A sensor network (1) as well as a method for monitoring a terrain (6) is specified. The sensor network (1) has a number of fixed-position sensors (3, 3?, 3?), which can be deployed in the terrain (6), and at least one programming module (25), with the fixed-position sensors (3, 3?, 3?) each being equipped with a communication device, with the at least one programming module having a position-finding device and a programming device (25), in which case the position of the sensors (3, 3?, 3?) can be determined by the position-finding device and can in each case be applied to the sensors (3, 3?, 3?) by the programming device (25) via the communication device, and with the sensors (3, 3?, 3?) being designed such that they themselves form a network. The sensor network (1) as well as the method, which is carried out in a manner corresponding to it, for monitoring the terrain (6) require sensors (3, 3?, 3?) of simple design, and are thus associated with a cost advantage.

  • Patent number: 6814125
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for joining together at least two substrates, each of which has an inner hole. The apparatus has a pin that is adapted to the inner holes of the substrates. The pin is provided with at least two noses that are movable radially relative to the pin. The noses have linear outer surfaces upon which the edges of the inner holes of the substrates can glide downwardly during movement of the noses toward the pin.
