  • Patent number: 6196852
Abstract: A contact arrangement and method of producing the contact arrangement for electrical connection between mutually opposite contact points disposed on a surface of a first and second substrate. The contact arrangement further includes an insulating body disposed between the surfaces of the first and second substrate. The insulating body has holes extending between opposite sides of the insulating body wherein a conductive layer is disposed on a surface of the holes. A contact element mat is disposed on opposite sides of the insulating body. The contact element mat includes interconnected contact elements having projections respectively engaging depressions that surround each hole.

  • Patent number: 5857991
Abstract: A device for applying medication fluid on mucus membrane in interior of body cavities has a manually actuatable pump element mountable on a medication supply container for discharging a medication fluid and having an outlet, an insertion tube having one end connected with the outlet and provided with a through going longitudinal opening, a distributor body connected with an opposite end of the insertion tube and having an outer shape and a volume to correspond to a body cavity to be treated, the distributor body having a plurality of outlet openings distributed over its outer surface and communicating through an interior of the distributor body with the insertion tube so that a medication fluid supplied under pressure is a discharged from the outlet openings over an outer surface of the distributor body.

  • Patent number: 5717248
Abstract: Cooling and screening device for integrated circuits, have a metal plate (26) having integrally formed cooling projections (28) and having bores (34) extending from the upper side and bottom side of the metal plate (26). Inserted into these bores (34) are contact pins (39) whose free ends form soldering tips (38) which are intended for soldering into plated-through bores (40) of a printed circuit board (20).

  • Patent number: 5338771
Abstract: A composite socket of a joint endoprosthesis may be fashioned in which the inorganic component of the socket has apatite and/or wollastonite crystalline phases and additionally secondary crystalline phases providing improved hydrolysis stability. The inorganic mixture consists (in mass % proportions) of 31-34% CaO, 10-12% P.sub.2 O.sub.5, 43-46% SiO.sub.2, 3-5% Na.sub.2 O, 2-3% CaF.sub.2 and, beyond the 100% of the above components, also 0.5-11% Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and/or Zr.sub.2 and Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 or TiO.sub.2 and ZrO.sub.2 or TiO.sub.2 and ZrO.sub.2 and Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, whereby the proportion of TiO.sub.2 lies between 0.5 and 5%. Essential to the invention, too, is a certain grain size distribution and radius of aperture between the ball and the socket. The result is non-wearing operation of the endoprosthesis.

  • Patent number: 4854102
Abstract: A sub-roof for roofs with roofing boards consisting of a plurality rectangular insulating boards (1) overlapping each other in direction of the slope of the roof. Each insulating board has a parallel plane central section (3), integral with a wedge-shaped board section (2) on the ridge side and a wedge-shaped board section (4) on the eaves side, the thickness of which increases towards the middle of the board. The thickness of the board sections (2 and 4) on the ridge side and on the eaves side at their edge towards the central board section (3) is at least equal to the thickness of said central board portion (3) and, when thicker boards are used, reaches said thickness after going through a step (11 and 12). The insulating boards (1) are placed so that they constitute an offset double or multiple covering.

  • Patent number: 4800675
Abstract: A roofing plate for the planting on greenery on a roof, having an approximately rectangular surface as seen from above. The roofing plate comprises a wedge-shaped upper section tapering in thickness towards the ridge, a central section of uniform thickness and of a lower section with an open channel on top. The combined length of the central section and the lower section (measured in the direction of the ridge to the eaves) is greater than the length of the upper section, so that a scale-like double or multiple roof covering can be installed. Several rows (25, 26) are installed one above the other, whereby a plurality of open channels are formed, and are located one above the other, are filled with a nutritive medium (35) for the planting of greenergy (36). Shell sections (32) are preferably inserted into the channels and hook into each other by means of beads and creases (33) so as to form a strong, sealed connection.
