  • Patent number: 8210837
Abstract: A blown film extrusion line has an annular die gap, from which a film tube can be extruded, a flatness unit or nip rolls, which fold the film tube, a calibration basket, which is disposed between the die gap and the flatness unit or nip rolls, and which has at least two film-guide elements that guide the film tube such that the film tube retains its round cross-section, with the diameter of the film tube being adjustable by changing the relative position of the two film-guide elements. The calibration basket includes a coupling device that couples the movement of the two film-guide elements to each other.

  • Publication number: 20110133017
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to improve devices (3) for transporting material webs (1) and for fixing said webs (1) on a counter bearing (4). Said devices (3) have the following characteristics: at least one transport roller (2, 2a, 2b) for transporting the material webs (1) and means for applying an electrostatic charge (q) to at least parts (8) of the material web (1), wherein the electrostatic forces of said charge (q) aid in the fixing of said parts on a counter bearing. The novelty and inventive step of the invention is that at least one transport roller (2, 2a, 2b) comprises means for applying an electrostatic charge (q) to at least parts (8) of the material web (1). The invention also claims a method for operating a device of this type.

  • Publication number: 20090304840
Abstract: The present invention describes a blown film extrusion line (1), which has the following features: an annular die gap, from which the film tube (9) can be extruded, a flatness unit (7,13) or nip rolls (8), which fold the film tube (9), a calibration basket (20,30), which is disposed between the die gap and the flatness unit (7,13) or nip rolls (8) and which comprises at least two film-guide elements (31), using which the film tube (9) can be guided in such a way that it retains its round cross-section, the diameter of the film tube (9,43) being adjustable by changing the relative position of the at least two film-guide elements (31). The coupling means (32,33,35,38,39), which couple the movement of at least two film-guide elements (31) to each other, are particularly advantageous.

  • Patent number: 6241502
Abstract: Take-off equipment for tubular sheets are provided for plastic film produced by an extruder with a stationary blowing head. Collapsing boards collapse the tubular sheet with expanded circular cross section, and stationary conveying equipment transports the collapsed tubular sheet to stationary wind-up equipment. A reversing system with at least one deflecting roller and at least one turning bar is pivotably supported between the collapsing boards and the stationary conveying equipment. The reversing system includes at least two turntables which are at a distance from one another vertically corresponding to the at least one deflecting roller and the at least one turning bar. The turntables lie with their centers in a central vertical axis of the equipment and can be driven in a reversing manner each over a planet wheel to different turning angles. The planet wheels are constructed in each case as open planetary gears with the associated turntable having a sun wheel.

  • Patent number: 5611473
Abstract: Apparatus for conveying continuous collapsed film includes a guidance arrangement receiving the continuous collapsed film, the guidance arrangement including at least one guide roller and at least one turning bar for guiding the film. The at least one guide roller changes the direction of the film 180 degrees, and the at least one turning bar changes the direction of the film 180 degrees. A conveyor belt travels the same speed as the film and the conveyor belt and the film loop over the one turning bar in superimposed relationship with the conveyor belt being between the at least one turning bar and the film such that the conveyor belt carries the film during the looping over the at least one turning bar.
