  • Patent number: 11000063
Abstract: There is provided a package for tobacco products or tobacco related commodities or smoking devices (20; 120; 220; 320), wherein the package (20; 120; 220; 320) includes an information encoding pattern (10; 110). The information encoding pattern comprises at least one first area (12) having a first conductive or dielectric property and at least one second area (14; 14a, 14b, 14c) having a second conductive or dielectric property. The first conductive property is different from the second conductive property and the first dielectric property is different from the second dielectric property. The information encoding pattern is configured to be detectable by a capacitive touch screen (24), e.g. a touch screen of a mobile device (22), such as a smartphone or tablet computer, when the information encoding pattern interacts with the touch screen, i.e. when the information encoding pattern approaches and/or touches the touch screen.

  • Patent number: 6021170
Abstract: A nuclear reactor plant includes a reactor pressure vessel having a core barrel supported on a cylindrical holding structure fixed in the reactor pressure vessel. The core barrel has a lower part with at least one elastically resilient segment. A projection disposed on the segment engages under the holding structure in such a way that a wedge-like gap is formed between a lower surface of the holding structure and the projection. A wedge is braced in the gap. A method is also provided for mounting the core barrel.

  • Patent number: 5970109
Abstract: A method for disposing of a component located in a reactor pressure vessel of a nuclear reactor plant. The component is, in particular, a lower core structure of a pressurized water reactor plant. An upper part of a container provided for further transport is disposed above an opened and flooded reactor pressure vessel. The upper part is provided with a lower orifice. The component is raised through the orifice into the upper part of the container and is subsequently transported to an upwardly open lower part of the container. The upper part is assembled together with the lower part to form the container, so that the component is enclosed and shielded in the container.

  • Patent number: 4991280
Abstract: A method for replacing bolts on core components of nuclear reactors includes machining away a bolt fastened at an installation site in a core component as well as the entire fastening of the bolt with an electroerosion machine. Machined-away bolt material is removed and caught with a filter. The bolt is then ejected from the core component with a closed force system. The installation site of the bolt is remachined with an accurate fit and a new bolt is subsequently inserted. An apparatus for replacing bolts on core components of nuclear reactors includes rails. An auxiliary platform is supported on the rails on both sides of a reactor pressure vessel. An auxiliary crane is disposed on the auxiliary platform and adjustable transverse to the rails. A tool carrier is guided on the auxiliary platform and suspended from the auxiliary crane. A tool is disposed on the tool carrier for replacing bolts on core components.

  • Patent number: 4410487
Abstract: Method of producing a core baffle with a plurality of horizontally disposed, parallel profile-rib rings for enclosing the fuel assemblies of a pressurized-water reactor, the profile-rib rings being formed with respective cutouts having a polygonal contour corresponding to that of the reactor core and with baffle plates secured vertically to the profile-rib rings and forming a casing matching the contours of the cutouts, which includes fastening to the profile-rib rings, by welding, one end of a plurality of ribs having a height corresponding to a mutual spacing of the profile-rib rings; successively welding the profile-rib rings to one another by the respective ribs thereof into a cage; assembling baffle plates bent partly into profile sections into the form of casing by bracing the plates against the cage; successively welding the baffle plates to the profile-rib rings of the cage; and welding the baffle plates to one another into a tight casing.
