Abstract: A rod lock for locking a door leaf on a door frame with at least one rod which can be arranged on the door leaf side and which is movable between a locking position in which the rod is locked to a lock holder which can be arranged on the door frame side, and an open position in which the rod is released from the lock holder. The movement of the rod is guided via a rod guide which can be arranged on the door leaf side. The lock holder and the rod guide have a centering device with two centering bevels for aligning the closed door leaf relative to the door frame, one of which can be used for doors hinged on the left and one of which can be used for doors hinged on the right.
