  • Publication number: 20210007487
Abstract: A pivot fitting for movable furniture parts on pieces of furniture, has a first lever and a second lever that are mounted to pivot about a common axis from a basic position through a predetermined angle, a clamping mechanism with which the two levers are fixable relative to each other at different angular positions within the predetermined angle. The clamping mechanism includes a toothing attached in a rotationally fixed manner to the second lever, at least one catch pivotally mounted on the first lever and loaded in the direction of the toothing, the catch engaging with the toothing in a detent position, a control disc mounted to pivot about the common axis, with which control disc the at least one catch can be disengaged from the toothing when the pretermined angle has been passed in an adjusting direction from the basic position so that when the catch is disengaged from the toothing, the two levers can be pivoted back into the basic position when the predetermined angle is passed in a resetting direction.

  • Patent number: 10519997
Abstract: A furniture fitting for connecting furniture parts of upholstered furniture has a first fitting part for fastening to a first furniture part and a second fitting part fastenable to a second furniture part. The first fitting part has a base and two axles arranged parallel to one another and parallel to the base. A first one of the axles is fixedly connected to the first fitting part and a second one of the axles is displaceably mounted relative to the first axle perpendicular to the axles against a force of an energy storage device. The second fitting part has a first and a second mount for the first and second axle and is positioned on the first axle with the first mount to pivot around the first axle. The second axle latches into the second mount during pivoting to connect the two fitting parts to each other.

  • Publication number: 20160348713
Abstract: A pivoting fitting (1) comprises a first tab (2) and a second tab (3) which are mounted so as to be rotatable relative to each other about an axis (6), and a locking mechanism having at least one pawl (5) and toothing (4), wherein the pawl (5) can be engaged in the toothing in a plurality of positions and permits a pivoting movement of the first tab (2) with respect to the second tab (3) in a first direction and blocks movement in an opposing direction, and wherein at least one control element (14) is provided to disengage the at least one pawl (5) from the toothing (4) and then to pivot the first tab (2) with respect to the second tab (3) in the second direction through an angle, wherein the at least one pawl (5) is retained by a spring element (9) in a position engaged in the toothing (4), wherein the spring element (9) is at least partially made from an elastomer material. In this way, the pivoting fitting (1) can be pivoted with little noise.

  • Patent number: 7932627
Abstract: An electric steering lock for a drive authorization system in a motor vehicle, including a movable locking element which, according to a first position, can be brought into locking engagement with a latched-in position on the steering shaft in the steering wheel column and, according to a second position, can be brought out of locking engagement with said position. The steering lock also has a drive for moving the locking element between the two positions, and electronics for controlling the drive. The system may have an associated second device in the form of an electronic key, an identification (ID) transmitter, a chip card or the like, with the result that, when the second device is authorized, the drive can be controlled into the respective position by the electronics. The electronics generate those signals which are used to trigger functions which can otherwise be effected by an electric ignition lock.
