  • Publication number: 20230398873
Abstract: A motor vehicle and method for analyzing the condition of a traction battery of a motor vehicle, wherein the motor vehicle includes an electric or hybrid propulsion system with an electric motor for driving the motor vehicle, power electronics for driving the electric motor, a battery management system with a monitoring device for monitoring the traction battery, and the traction battery. Impedance spectroscopy is performed on the traction battery with an alternating current across multiple alternating current frequencies. At least one battery parameter of the traction battery is determined based on the impedance spectroscopy performed. In the context of impedance spectroscopy, the traction battery is supplied with alternating current at several alternating current frequencies by the power electronics.

  • Patent number: 10500937
Abstract: An electric drive unit for a hybrid drive, in particular for a vehicle, has an increased power output and degree of efficiency, while thermal loading as well as required installation space and manufacturing costs are minimized. The electric drive unit has an asynchronous machine with a rotor with a rotor cage, in particular a rotor cage which is formed with copper conductors. The asynchronous machine is formed with a stator having a shaft winding. The shaft winding is formed with a device for star-delta changeover. The rotor is formed with a rotor internal cooling device. A step-up gear mechanism is arranged in a power train between the rotor and the output element. There is also described a hybrid drive device with an electric drive unit, and a vehicle that has an electric drive unit and/or a hybrid drive device.

  • Patent number: 9819247
Abstract: In an electrical machine for the hybrid drive of a vehicle, an annular cooling jacket extends between a housing and a casing. The cooling jacket is connected to a coolant inlet and a coolant outlet so that coolant is axially introduced into the cooling jacket. The coolant inlet and the coolant outlet are situated next to each other in the circumferential direction of the housing and are hydraulically connected to a deflection section by way of coolant ducts. Coolant introduced into the cooling jacket flows in two partial flows in opposite directions, to the deflection section through coolant ducts forming an intake. The coolant is deflected back to the coolant outlet through a coolant duct forming a return. The coolant flows through the coolant duct of the return and the axially adjacent coolant duct of the intake in opposite directions.
