  • Patent number: 10581731
Abstract: A method for transmitting control commands in a system (100) of units (L1-L18) in a distributed arrangement, for example in a lighting system having luminaires in a distributed arrangement, involves at least some of the units (L1-L18) sending a received control command again in order to ensure that the control command is forwarded to all units (L1-L18). The control command contains a piece of information regarding an already past command transmission time, wherein each unit (L1-L18) takes the command transmission time that a received command contains as a basis for determining an individual waiting time (TTLind), after the expiry of which the command is executed by the unit (L1-L18).

    Assignee: ZUMTOBEL LIGHTING GMBH
    Inventors: Gerd Zeidler, Nuno Lourenco
  • Patent number: 10458849
Abstract: The invention relates to a sensor assembly (1) for capturing spatially resolved photometric data comprising a sensor unit (10), a controllable shutter assembly (20), which is arranged in front of the sensor unit (10) and by means of which an incidence of light on the sensor unit (10) can be controlled in dependence on direction, and an evaluating unit (30) for evaluating the information output by the sensor unit (10) and calculating spatially resolved brightness information, wherein the sensor unit (10) has at least two sensor segments (11), with which different combinations of color and polarization filters (12, 13) or spectrometers are associated, and wherein the evaluating unit (30) is designed to supplement the brightness information with additional photometric data on the basis of the signals output by the various sensor segments (11).
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 29, 2019
    Assignee: ZUMTOBEL LIGHTING GMBH
    Inventors: Martin Siegel, Gerd Zeidler
  • Patent number: 9992847
Abstract: A sensor unit for ascertaining control data for use in a daylight-dependent light-controlling device having an image sensor for acquiring digital image data as well as a controller for analyzing the image data and creating a brightness signal representing the daylight. The controller is designed such that when creating the brightness signal, same gives more weight to those image regions of the image data acquired by the image sensor which are more greatly influenced by the daylight.

Date of Patent: June 5, 2018
