  • Patent number: 10279112
Abstract: Automated injection system disclosed in this application advantageously provides physicians with a simplified interface for selecting fluid sources, such as saline, contrast, or a mixture of both, to inject at high pressures. The injector system may comprise a multi-use subassembly, a single-use subassembly, a fitting to fluidly connect the multi-use and single-use subassemblies, a hand held controller, a user interface, and an injector housing.

  • Publication number: 20190060538
Abstract: Devices to improve lung function in a patient having restricted ventilation. The device may include an entry or access port for an implantable airway bypass device that relieves trapped air. The device of the present invention comprises an expandable structure (164) to be implanted in lung tissue and defining an air capture chamber, a first conduit (174) having a first end from which extends the expandable structure, and a second end to be coupled to a first end of a second conduit (161), the second end of the second conduit being joined to an external anchor (175) to rest against an outer skin surface of the chest of the patient.

  • Publication number: 20180021185
Abstract: A packaged feminine care absorbent article has an absorbent article with an absorbent structure and a shell. The absorbent structure is configured for disposition adjacent a female wearer's vaginal region. The shell is configured for supporting the absorbent structure at the vaginal region. The shell has a body-facing surface and a garment-facing surface. The body-facing surface has an adhesive thereon for adhering the shell directly to the wearer. The absorbent structure is attached directly to the garment-facing surface. The absorbent article is configurable between a packaged configuration and a use configuration. The absorbent structure is folded longitudinally about at least one transverse fold line and transversely about at least one longitudinal fold line in the packaged configuration. A portion of the shell overlies a portion of the absorbent structure in the packaged configuration.

  • Patent number: 6642711
Abstract: A differential pulse transformer having a drive coil (10a) and differential sense coils (10b) are disposed on a planar surface with a target (10e, 10f) movable over the sense coils to cause an imbalance in magnetic field when a large di/dt pulse is generated in the drive coil. A detection circuit senses the imbalance and provides a digital output accurately identifying the position of the target. Coil and target embodiments include relatively small secondary coils and relatively long targets (10b, 10e/10f; 12b, 12e/12f and 14b) and relatively large secondary coils and short targets (16b, 16c; 18b, 18c; 20b and 22b).
