  • Patent number: 4504862
Abstract: To generate a binary signal on the occurrence of a given frequency ratio of two signals, the higher-frequency, first signal is applied to the count input of a first up-counter whose maximum count is greater than the frequency ratio. The attainment of a count of the first up-counter in an upper range of successive counts which includes the frequency-ratio count and the maximum count is monitored by a decoder having an output for all range counts, an output for a count lying a few counts before the frequency-ratio count, and an output for the frequency-ratio count. The first of these outputs is coupled to the control input of an electronic make contact; the second output is coupled to the trigger input of a monostable multivibrator, and the third output is connected to one of the two signal inputs of an electronic switch having its other signal input connected to the output of the make contact.

  • Patent number: 4484110
Abstract: The horizontal-deflection pulses (HA) and the vertical synchronizing pulses (VS) are applied to the count input (Ez) and the reset input (Er) of an upcounter (VZ) whose count outputs are connected to the address inputs (Ea) of a programmable read-only memory (PROM1) via a decoder (DC). The S-shaped characteristic of the deflection-stage current is approximated by portions of constant slope whose associated slope values are stored in the programmable read-only memory (PROM1) under one address each.

  • Patent number: 4401921
Abstract: A monolithic integrated vertical deflection circuit for television sets is provided for digital generation of the pulse width modulated signal for directly driving a vertical deflection stage. The integrated circuit is implemented using counters, clock generators, a frequency divider, a decoder and logic gates in conjunction with programmable read only memories so that the number of rows in a first programmable read only memory may be considerably reduced. Use of the simpler digital stages results in a chip of much smaller size than required by the prior art.

  • Patent number: 4303891
Abstract: A sound amplifier is provided in a monolithic integrated circuit form and includes tone compensated volume control achieved by the use of emitter followers and a capacitor connected at one side to ground.

  • Patent number: 3943385
Abstract: This relates to a circuit for use in a car interlock and permits restarting of the motor for about three minutes after the unfastening of the safety belt. The circuit contains a difference amplifier, a first input switching the supply voltage of a capacitor charging circuit and a second input directly switching the charging circuit.
