  • Patent number: 9664493
Abstract: The invention relates to a production plant (1), in particular for folding workpieces (2) to be produced from sheet metal, comprising a bending press (3), in particular a press brake, having a press beam (13, 16), at least one bending tool (4), such as a bending punch (5) and bending die (6), which is connected to the press beam (13, 16), and at least one angle-measuring device (46) for determining an angular position of at least one limb (35, 36) of the workpiece (2) formed by a bending operation relative to a reference plane (41, 42). The angle-measuring device (46) comprises at least one inclination sensor (39) having a reference surface (40) and the inclination sensor (39) is mounted by the angle-measuring device (46) so that it can be placed with the reference surface (40) lying in contact with a surface portion of at least one of the limbs (35, 36) of the workpiece (2).

  • Patent number: 9592545
Abstract: The invention relates to a rear stop unit (7) with a stop and/or gripping and/or measuring element (10) for positioning a sheet (3) to be machined on a bending press. The stop and/or gripping and/or measuring element (10) is arranged on an adjustable bearing arm (13) by means of a pivot joint (12). The bearing arm (13) is connected to a guide rail (20) by means of an additional pivot joint (18) via a guide element (19). The rear stop unit (7) further comprises a support arm (21) which is connected to the bearing arm (13) via a joint (22) and to an additional guide element (24) via a rigid connection, and the support arm is connected to the guide rail (20) via the additional guide element. Furthermore, the joint (22) is designed as a rotational/prismatic joint. The position of the bearing arm (13) can thereby be adjusted by moving the support arm (21) in a linear manner along a guide direction (11) specified by the guide rail (20).

  • Patent number: 9547300
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine controller comprising a sensor module (4), an evaluation module (9) and a control module (5), and the sensor module (4) has a convertor which converts a mechanical variable acting on the sensor module (4) into a proportional electric characteristic variable, and the evaluation module (9) is connected via a first signal connection (8) to the sensor module (4) and via a second signal connection (11) to the control module (5). The evaluation module (9) generates a signal profile from the detected electric signal by means of an analysis of potential and/or change, which is compared with at least one reference signal profile stored in a memory means of the evaluation module (9) by means of a comparison module of the evaluation module (9), from which the control signal is generated. Furthermore, at least one of the two signal connections (8, 11) is based on a wireless design.
