  • Patent number: 11964646
Abstract: A foot brake valve (2?) of a pneumatic brake system in a motor vehicle has an installation plate (4?), on which a brake pedal (14) is pivotably mounted and to which a housing (18?) of a control unit (16, 26) is fastened. A spring-loaded plunger piston (36) in actuating contact with the brake pedal (14) is guided axially movably in an annular collar (50) projecting upward out of the installation plate (4?). For fastening the housing (18?) of the control unit (16, 26) to the installation plate (4?), the housing (18?) has an intermediate flange (48) which is screw-connected to the main part of the housing (18?) and has the annular collar (50). The intermediate flange (48) is coaxially rotatably about a vertical central axis (32), and is connectable in non-positively locking fashion to the installation plate (4?) via a releasable clamping connection (62).

  • Patent number: 4345056
Abstract: An improvement in the process of producing polyvinyl chloride by the suspension process in the presence of protective colloids by utilizing a protective colloid mixture of from 20% to 80% of the protective colloid mixture of a polyvinyl acetate having a hydrolysis degree of 40 to 55 mol % and the remainder of the protective colloid mixture of (1) a water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol having a hydrolysis degree of 70 to 90 mol %, or (2) an aminoethyl-hydroxypropyl cellulose having a molar substitution of from 0.05 to 1.5 mols of aminoethyl groups and 3 to 5 mols of hydroxypropyl groups, or (3) a vinyl acetate/vinyl pyrrolidone copolymer having a ratio of vinyl pyrrolidone to vinyl acetate in the copolymer of 50% to 70% by weight to 30% to 50% by weight and a K-value of 25 to 40. By the use of this protective colloid mixture, the polyvinyl chloride produced exhibits a large absorption of plasticizer and gives finished products having a low number of specks.

  • Patent number: 4232807
Abstract: A sealing carrier pack for cans with beaded edge or circumferential projection at least the end which is openable, where a flat frame having a carrying handle is provided with a plurality of attached receiving and sealing areas opposing each other in pairs, and at the outer edge of each receiving area is an elastic extension having an undercut adapted to the beaded edge for clamping engagement of the cans arranged with the beaded edges facing each other, and where an extended lip designed as a ring is provided at the inner edge of each receiving area opposing each other in pairs, so that the beaded edge of a can to be inserted is held on the receiving area between the outer undercuts and the inner extended lip.

  • Patent number: 4006201
Abstract: A process for the production of polyvinyl chloride graft copolymers from ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymers and vinyl chloride by graft polymerization in the aqueous phase consisting essentially of adding a water-soluble, free-radical-forming polymerization catalyst to an aqueous dispersion of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer optionally containing additional emulsifiers and/or dispersion stabilizers, heating said dispersion to the polymerization temperature, adding vinyl chloride gas above said agitated heated dispersion at such rate that the pressure is below the saturation pressure of vinyl chloride at the polymerization temperature, and recovering said polyvinyl chloride grafted copolymer.
