  • Patent number: 8161615
Abstract: An apparatus and method for clamping and processing conveyor belt ends includes a stationary stand and a clamping member supported on the stand and configured to selectively retain an associated conveyor belt end therein. A belt processing member is configured to process the conveyor belt end retained in the clamping member, and a rail is detachably mounted on one of the stand member and the clamping member, and movably supports thereon the belt processing member for movement of the same along the conveyor belt end retained in the clamping member.

  • Patent number: 5881863
Abstract: A belt lacing is provided for conveyor belts of the type used in installans with a trough zone, where the conveyor belt is supported on both sides curved towards the top. The conveyor belt ends are joined together with a hinge joint or lacing, which is exclusively located outside of the curved sections of the trough zone of the conveyor belt. The hinge joint or lacing contains coupling eyes which are fastened to the conveyor belt and at least one connecting pin, which passes through the intermeshing coupling eyes. The conveyor belt excels because of the minor wear in laterally flexing transition areas of the conveyor belt during passage through the trough zone. Moreover, it is simply constructed and can be manufactured in an uncomplicated way.

  • Patent number: 4181410
Abstract: The operator projects motion-picture film using a projector. A counter counts frame pulses during both forwards and reverse film transport, and thereby keeps track at all times of the film frame count. The operator during forwards projection when he sees the start or end of a scene pressss a storage switch which causes the scene-start or scene-end frame count to be stored. The operator also preselects the type of recording-transition effect to be implemented. The operator then commands dubbing of the scene, whereupon a minicomputer begins to automatically implement a series of operations, including projector motor control and recording control, to implement the selected recording-transition effect, in a programmed manner dependent upon the stored frame counts and the instantaneous frame count. In the middle of the dubbing of a scene, the operator can change the transition effect he selects, to produce a transition effect at the scene end different from that selected for the scene start.

  • Patent number: 4140915
Abstract: The perforated strip is transported lengthwise along a predetermined transport path. The perforations have a width w and an inter-perforation spacing s as measured in the transport direction. The perforations are sensed at two predetermined sensing locations located along the transport path. The distance between the two sensing locations is equal to as .+-. bw, wherein a is equal to zero, unity or an integer greater than unity, and wherein b is a number greater than zero and less than unity. Sensing the perforations at sensing locations thusly spaced makes it possible to determine from the resultant signals the direction of strip transport.

  • Patent number: 4114995
Abstract: A photographic apparatus is comprised of a plurality of adjustable units and a common digital display. The adjustable units and the common digital display are interconnected by information-transmitting circuitry. The circuitry includes selectors for selecting the unit whose setting is to be displayed on the common digital display along with an associated coordination symbol indicating which setting is being displayed.
