  • Publication number: 20100245117
Abstract: A system for detecting an object in a monitoring area with a plurality of sensors, each including a transmitter and a receiver, and an electronics unit for evaluating the receivers. The electronics unit is capable of assigning a contact address to a transmitter and/or to a receiver, wherein address assignment is effected such that after the address assignment it is possible for the electronics unit to associate receivers with transmitters.

  • Patent number: 4910917
Abstract: The invention concerns a bowden cable window lift with two guide rails along which the window pane is guided in sliding manner by means of two drive plates actuated by the bowden cable. To compensate for lack of parallelism of the guide rails due to assembly of the window lift, adjustment means are mounted on at least one drive plate whereby the pan can be tipped in its plane and furthermore allowing lateral displacement of the pane relative to the guide rail guiding the drive plate. The adjustment means effecting the tipping of the pane is an adjustable and lockable eccentric stud, and the lateral adjustment of the pane is implemented by an elongated slot in the drive plate within which the eccentric stud is moved transversely.

  • Patent number: 4420273
Abstract: A coupling device is provided for coupling the movable member of a machine to a potentiometer to convert sliding movement of the member into proportionate movement of potentiometer. The device includes a first rod which is attachable to the movable machine member and a second rod which is connectable to the potentiometer. A ball-shaped slide is attached to the first rod and a planar abutment is attached to the second rod. The glide piece and the abutment are in abuting contuct with one another. A biasing spring is provided which applies pressure, in a working direction, to the glide piece to thereby maintain the glide piece and the planar abutment in intimate engagement with one another. This arrangement forms a joint connection between the first and second rods which enables transmission there between of only translational movement.

  • Patent number: 4314692
Abstract: A motor vehicle hoist has a closed rope loop which is driven by a permanent magnet electric motor having a flat housing and a worm with a worm wheel. The worm is fastened to an end of the motor shaft which extends into an adjacent gear box, and turns a rope drum. The motor stator includes an axially oriented, magnetically nonconductive frame, which holds the rotor and at least one permanent magnet and which supports housing halves which serve, on both sides, as pole pieces. The worm wheel and rope drum are rotatably mounted on a common axis in the gear box. The motor is useful for opening windows, doors, and sliding roofs of vehicles.
