Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cutting bit carrier for hard rock mining applications. Usually, replacing worn cutting bits may take much effort and may be time consuming. The present cutting bit carrier may comprise a first carrier member including a first supporting portion configured to contact a cutting bit shank of a cutting bit for supporting the cutting bit, and a second carrier member including a second supporting portion configured to contact the cutting bit shank of the cutting bit for supporting the cutting bit. The second carrier member may be detachably mountable to the first carrier member.

The slat conveyor may further comprise an endless conveyor including a conveyor chain and a plurality of transport plates with a plate section, which may be pivotable downward in a delivery area for the transported material. Thus, for example, a flat-constructed slat conveyor (apron conveyor) having a low loading height may be provided.
