  • Patent number: 11882976
Abstract: A liquid distributor for a liquid-transfer system of a conveyor dishwasher has first, second and third connections. The liquid sprayed in at least one final-rinse zone of the conveyor dishwasher can be fed to the liquid distributor via the first connection, wherein some of the liquid fed to the liquid distributor can be discharged, via the second connection, to a line system which can be connected to the second connection, and wherein the rest of the liquid fed to the liquid distributor can be discharged, via the third connection, to at least one line system which can be connected to the third connection. The liquid distributor has an interchangeable aperture component, which defines the fraction of liquid which is fed to the liquid distributor via its first connection and is to be discharged, via the second connection, to the line system which can be connected to the second connection.

  • Patent number: 7621286
Abstract: Spray pipe of a conveyor ware washer for spraying items to be washed with liquid, comprising a plurality of nozzles, which are arranged one behind another in the longitudinal direction of the pipe, and an inlet, from which liquid can flow in the longitudinal direction of the pipe to the nozzles, characterized in that, at least in the case of two nozzles one following another in the liquid supply direction, the nozzle located closer to the inlet has a nozzle opening with a larger opening cross section than the nozzle adjacent to it further away from the inlet.

  • Publication number: 20070227560
Abstract: A conveyor-type dish washer and a method of operating it, characterised in that a final-rinse operation is executed with the consumption of final-rinse liquid of 3 l/m2 movement of the horizontal take-up plane of a dish carrier or less, preferably of 1 l/m2-2.5 l/m2, while the items (154, 156) which are to be finally rinsed are being subjected to final-rinse liquid spray jets; wherein said take-up plane is the horizontal area of the dish carrier where the dish carrier can take up items to be cleaned.

  • Patent number: 4021301
Abstract: A nuclear reactor installation includes a pressurized-water reactor having a main coolant pipe line loop provided with a pressurizer. The steam space of the pressurizer is connected to a tank containing a concentrated solution of boric acid and which is connected with the loop via a normally-closed valve means which opens when the loop pressure reduces below normal, so that the steam pressure in the pressurizer, drives the solution from the tank into the loop and thus into the reactor where the concentrated boric acid solution provides equalization for the increase in the reactor's core reactivity which takes place when the coolant temperature drops.

  • Patent number: 3937184
Abstract: A high-pressure steam generator, particularly for use in a pressurized-water coolant nuclear reactor installation, has a feed water inlet connection provided with a flow choke, such as a flow restricting orifice, through which the normal flow of feed water can pass to the steam generator with little impedance. In the event the pipe line supplying the feed water to the input connection accidentally fails and opens to the atmosphere, the choke becomes effective to very substantially reduce the flow rate of the reversely flowing water through the connection, which then occurs under the high steam pressure of the steam generator. This reduces the forces on the generator's internal construction in the event of such an accident.
