  • Publication number: 20070251407
Abstract: A cableway system has a valley station and at least one mountain station. A conveying cable is guided over deflecting pulleys in the stations. Transport devices in the form of chairs and cablecars are uncoupled from the conveying cable in the stations and moved through the stations along guide rails, where passengers board them or disembark. On exiting the station, the transport devices are once more coupled to the conveying cable. At least two diverters are provided along the course of the guide rails and along which the lift chairs are moved through a first boarding and disembarking region and the cablecar gondolas are moved through a second boarding and disembarking region. The chairs are for passengers with skis attached and the cablecars are for is passengers without any skis attached. The chairs are moved through the first boarding and disembarking region at twice or more the speed of the cablecars moving through the second boarding and disembarking region.

  • Patent number: 6729241
Abstract: An aerial cableway system has at least one load-bearing and conveying cable that is moved between a valley station and a mountain station, which is guided over deflection pulleys in the stations, and transportation devices that can be coupled to the load-bearing and conveying cable and that are formed by cabins and by chairs. The cabins and chairs can be uncoupled from the conveying cable in the stations, moved along guide rails through entry and exit regions located in the stations, and then once more coupled to the conveying cable. The entry and exit regions provided in the stations are respectively subdivided into two mutually separate sectors which follow each other in the direction of movement. A first sector is intended for the users of the cabins and a second sector is provided for the users of the chairs.

  • Patent number: 4065608
Abstract: A process for the preparation of cationic paper sizing agents is disclosed. A copolymer of maleic anhydride and an .alpha.-olefin containing 10 to 26 carbon atoms is first reacted with from 0.1 to 1.0 mol, per mol of anhydride, of a monoprimary/monotertiary alkylene diamine, subsequently reacting the copolymer with more than 0.2 and less than 1.5 mols, per mol of anhydride, of a low-molecular weight polyamine, with the proviso that the total amount of amine reacted be less than 2.0 mols per mol of anhydride, and converting the resultant product to a salt.
