  • Patent number: 5344316
Abstract: The present invention relates to a movement simulator having a support frame and a subframe movable relative to the support frame and connected by a variable element. A simple control assembly is electrically connected to the variable element for controlling its length. The transducer assembly having at least one acceleration transducer attached to the variable element supplies an acceleration signal of a subframe relative to the support frame to the control assembly. The invention includes circuitry to avoid non-defined senarios in determining the acceleration signal.

  • Patent number: 4708656
Abstract: A simulator of previously chosen mechanical properties of the steering system of a device such as an aircraft employs a controllable limiter for simulating the mechanical Coulomb friction of the control member and is arranged in a negative feedback loop and having two control signal inputs which determine the maximum and minimum outputs of the limiter in association with a further input signal corresponding to the friction concerning the control member. The limiter interrupts output until the level of the Coulomb friction to be simulated is exceeded.
