Abstract: The invention concerns polysiloxane compounds which contain the following components: 1. organopolysiloxane with at least two aliphatic double bonds in the molecule; 2 organopolysiloxane with at least two Si—H groups in the molecule; 3. noble metal catalyst; and 4. hydrophilic modifier of general formula (I) [H2C═CH—A1—(A2)m—X]nB (I), in which A1, A2, X, B, m and n have the meanings given in claim 1. The polysiloxane compounds are stable during storage and are used as dental casting compounds.

Abstract: New organopolysiloxane masses cross-linkable into elastomers by radical formation containing (1) high-viscosity diorganopolysiloxanes with a value equal to at least 3000 Nm, (2) low-viscosity vinyl-containing organopolysiloxanes having 20 to 1.10.sup.6 mPa.multidot.s at 25.degree. C. consisting of siloxane units (M units) having the formulae R.sup.1 R.sub.2 SiO.sub.1/2 and/or R.sub.3 SiO.sub.1/2, of siloxane units (D units) having the formulae R.sup.1 RSiO and/or R.sub.2 SiO and optionally HRSiO, and of siloxane units (T or Q units) having the formulas RSiO.sub.3/2 and/or R.sub.1 SiO.sub.3/2 and/or SiO.sub.2, in which R stands for a monovalent, possibly substituted hydrocarbon residue with 1 to 18 hydrocarbon atoms and R.sub.1 stands for a vinyl residue, provided that the organopolysiloxanes contain at least 1.0% by weight Si-bound vinyl groups; as well as (3) fillers.

Abstract: This invention relates to organosiloxanes which have SiC-bonded ester groups and contain at least one unit of the general formula: ##EQU1## is which R represents the same or different monovalent hydrocarbon radicals having from 1 to 12 carbons atoms, which are free of aliphatic unsaturation and which may contain one ether oxygen atom; R' represents hydrogen or a methyl group (CH.sub.3) and a is O, 1 or 2. These organosiloxanes can be prepared by hydrolyzing or co-hydrolyzing silanes of the general formula:ROOCCH.sub.2 CH(COOR)CH.sub.2 CHR'CH.sub.2 Si(CH.sub.3).sub.a X.sub.3-a'where R, R' and a are the same as above and X represents the same or different hydrolyzable atoms or groups. Also, they may be prepared by the addition of a diester of allyl succinic acid and/or methallyl succinic acid to an organosiloxane containing Si-bonded hydrogen. These new organosiloxanes may be used as lubricants for inorganic and organic fibers, metal surfaces and as hydraulic fluids.

Abstract: Silicon containing compounds having Si-bonded hydrogen are added to an aliphatic multiple bond in the presence of a platinum catalyst selected from the group consisting of platinum compounds of the formula(R.sup.1)PtX.sub.2,where R.sup.1 represents a cyclic hydrocarbon radical or a substituted cyclic hydrocarbon radical having 2 aliphatic carbon-carbon double bonds, X is the same or different halogen atoms and/or the same or different alkyl radicals, and compounds of the formula(R.sub.2 SO)(Z)PtY.sub.2where R represents the same or different hydrocarbon radicals or substituted hydrocarbon radicals, Z represents a hydrocarbon having a carbon-carbon double bond and Y represents the same or different halogen atoms.An example of a platinum compound having the general formula(R.sup.1)PtX.sub.2,is dicyclopentadiene-platinum dichloride, while an example of a platinum compound having the general formula(R.sub.2 SO)(Z)PtY.sub.2is dimethylsulfoxide-ethylene-platinum-(II)-dichloride.

Abstract: This invention relates to halogen platinum complexes of the formulaA.sub.2 PtX.sub.2 and/or C.sub.3 H.sub.6 PtB.sub.2 X.sub.2and a process for adding Si-bonded hydrogen to an aliphatic multiple bond in the presence of these halogen platinum complexes, in which A represents the same or different pyridine rings, which are substituted by one or two alkyl radicals having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, B represents the same or different, 5- or 6-membered heterocyclics or linked 5- or 6-membered heterocyclics having 1 to 2 heteroatoms and X represents the same or different halogen atoms.

Abstract: A process for the addition of Si-bonded hydrogen to an aliphatic multiple bond in the presence of a platinum catalyst selected from the group consisting of______________________________________ I XPtY, II ##STR1## III APt(Y')X"and ______________________________________mixtures thereof, in which A is a halogen, X is a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon radical having from 1 to 3 aliphatic double bonds which is bonded to the platinum atom via a PtC-sigma bond and a Pt-olefin-Pi-bond, X' is a hydrocarbon radical which is substituted with an alkoxy or acyloxy group and has from 1 to 3 double bonds and is bonded to the platinum atom via a PtC-sigma bond and a Pt-olefin-Pi-bond, X" is a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon having an aliphatic double bond which is bonded to the platinum atom via a Pt-olefin-Pi-bond, Y is a chelate-like bonded beta-diketonate ligand or arylcarboxylate ligand, Y' is a beta-diketonate ligand and Z is a double link bridge ligand.
