  • Patent number: 12312013
Abstract: A device for compensating for tolerances between two parts, in particular vehicle parts, that are to be connected by means of a connecting screw, with a holding device for arranging on a first part, and a compensation device that may be brought into contact with a second part and is situated so as to be movable relative to the holding device, wherein the compensation device has an inner engagement structure for form-fit engagement with threads of the connecting screw.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: May 27, 2025
    Assignee: WITTE AUTOMOTIVE GMBH
    Inventor: Gerhard Mosch
  • Patent number: 11668337
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for compensating tolerances between a first component and a second component to be screwed to it by means of a connecting screw, comprising a base element and a compensation element that is in thread engagement with the base element, the thread engagement being non-self-locking in such a way that the compensation element moves out of the base element when the connecting screw exerts an axial force on the compensation element.

Date of Patent: June 6, 2023
    Assignee: WITTE Automotive GmbH

  • Patent number: 10682932
Abstract: The invention relates to a lock comprising a housing, a rotary latch rotatably supported in the housing, a pawl for the rotary latch and an immobilization element for locking the pawl in an unblocking position and for pressing the rotary latch to a locking hoop received therein in a closed state of the lock, wherein the immobilization element is only guided in a predefined direction of movement along a round path by a guide topology.

  • Publication number: 20110316293
Abstract: A lock with a rotary latch and with a pawl, wherein the pawl can be moved from a blocking position, in which it holds the rotary latch in a closed position, into a release position, in which it allows the rotary latch to rotate into an open position, by the winding of a traction element onto a winding body. A flexible belt, which is wound in spiral fashion around the winding body, can be used as the traction element.

  • Publication number: 20060249958
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary latch closure with a rotary latch (2) which is mounted on a base plate (1) of a housing or the like in such a way that it can be rotated from a blocking position into a release position and, in the blocking position, uses a fork mouth (5) to keep a locking dog (4) of a mating locking part from being displaced in an opening direction (P2), whereas, in the release position, said locking dog (4) can be displaced in the opening direction (P2). The significant provision is that, when it is displaced between the blocking position and the release position, the rotary latch (2) rotates successively about points of rotation disposed at different locations with respect to the rotary latch.
